Public Meetings – Round III
The first meeting was held at the MLK Recreation Center in Denton at 6:00 p.m. on May 16, 2005. Approximately 103 members of the community attended.
The second meeting was held in the Highland Village Police Training Room in Highland Village at 6:00 p.m. on May 17, 2005. Approximately 59 members of the community attended.
The DCTA Board of Directors approved a Locally Preferred Alternative (LPA) recommending regional rail service from Denton to Carrollton.
Public Meetings – Round II
The first meeting was held at the Lewisville Municipal Annex in Lewisville at 5:45 p.m. on January 31, 2005. Approximately 50 members of the community attended.
The second meeting was held at McMath Middle School in Denton at 5:45 p.m. on February 1, 2005. Approximately 52 members of the community attended.
One more round of public meetings is planned will include a meeting near the northern end of the study area and a meeting near the southern end of the study area.

Public Meetings – Round I
The first meeting was held at McMath Middle School in Denton on at 7 p.m. on November 17, 2004. Approximately 50 members of the community attended.
The second meeting was held at Lewisville North High School in Lewisville at 5:30 p.m. on November 18, 2004. Approximately 45 members of the community attended.
Because the area affected by a commuter rail line is so large, DCTA decided to hold two meetings that presented the same information so that interested citizens could attend a meeting more easily.
